One of the stations of Pravoberezhnaya Linia - the newest line of Petersburg metro (21,4 km) that comes from the north-eastern side of the river Neva (Primorsky District) through the city centre to south-western part of the city (Nevsky District). The Line, which is assigned Orange on the metro map, consists of 12 stations – Komendantsky prospect, Staraya Derevnya, Krestovsky Ostrov, Tchkalovskaya, Sportivnaya, Sadovaya, Dostoevskaya, Ligovsky prospect, Ploschad Alexandra Nevskogo II, Novocherkasskaya, Ladozhskaya, Prospect Bolshevikov, Ulitsa Dybenko. The column-type station adorned with street lamps and gates, Dostoevskaya was constructed in 1991 according to the project of architects A.V.Zhuk, A.D.Tokman, V.G.Hilchenko, A.S.Konstantinov on the junction of Vladimirsky and Zagorodny prospect.
