One of the stations of Moskovsko-Petrogradskaya Linia - the second line of Petersburg metro, constructed in 1961, that run from northern city parts (Vyborgsky District) to the southern districts (Moskovsky District and Kupchino). 27,9 km long, the Linia which is assigned Blue on the map consists of 17 station - Prospect Prosveshenia, Ozerki, Ydelnaya, Pionerskaya, Chernaya Rechka, Petrogradskaya, Gorkovskaya, Nevsky Prospect, Sennaya Ploschad, Tekhnologichesky Institut, Frunzenskaya, Moskovskie Vorota, Electrosila, Park Pobedy, Moskovskaya, Zvezdnaya, Kupchino. Frunzenskaya station, located not far from the junction of Moskovsky prospect and Obvodnogo Kanala Naberezhnaya, was constructed in 1961 according to the project of architects B.N.Zhuravlev, A.S.Getskin, V.P.Shuvalova.
